I help you find balance, strength, and flexibility for long-lasting change. Challenge yourself without pain so you can grow without getting depleted or hurt.
Yoga is different for everyone due to age, body size, physical issues, injuries, etc., so I give options so you can be successful in the body you’re in. You don’t have to be flexible (or fit) to do yoga. (That will come as you practice consistently.)
I teach group classes, private sessions, and private yoga and Yoga Therapy sessions so you can find the right practice whether you’re a beginner or high level athlete and whether you’re healthy or healing.
I have been practicing and teaching yoga since 2000. I taught yoga at the WIU Spencer Recreation Center for 6 years and 2 years through the Kinesiology Department. I opened Free Range Yoga and Community Wellness Center in 2013.
This is my passion and I love what I do. I’d love to help you!
I am also a competitive Powerlifter with the American Drug Free Powerlifting Association and I use my Yoga Therapy background to stay healthy and get stronger. I have nursed myself back from a few injuries since 2016 (unrelated to lifting) by using Yoga Therapy and Physical Therapy concepts. I continue to get stronger in all three lifts: Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift – without pain, strain, or tension.
I have lifted with Team USA for the American Drug Free Powerlifting
Federation for the last two Full Power World Drug Free Powerlifting
