    Moving Well: Everyday Movement, the Alexander Way

    Do you feel you are carrying tension that you can't quite let go of?

    Or that everyday movements feel stiffer and more effortful than they used to?

    Join Claire Happel Ashe for this hour-long Alexander Technique-based class that explores innate movement patterns we develop in early childhood–patterns that support ease, balance, and coordination.

    You'll learn how everyday habits interfere with the natural curves of our spine and how to reconnect with those in a healthy, supportive way.

    The first part of the class will be an exploration of these patterns from multiple angles, followed by a short movement session to apply them in everyday activities. The class will end with a period of constructive rest, including hands-on Alexander Technique work to help release unnecessary tension and restore more length through the spine.

    You'll leave with simple tools to move with more awareness and freedom–and to recognize how you may be getting in the way of your natural balance, poise, and coordination.
