    AJ fell in love with dance by the age of five, taking ballet classes through college, and was certified in Zumba in 2010 and Belly Dance Fitness in 2013. In high school, she studied ballet and jazz with the Bonnie Haney Dance Company in Fargo, North Dakota, later expanding her dance repertoire with swing and belly dance lessons in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.

    Peace Class with Dawn

    September 21st is the International Day of Peace which celebrates the power of global solidarity for building a peaceful and sustainable world.

    This is a class from my heart to yours - for all to know more peace.

    There are 3 parts to this class:

    First, we will clear out stagnant energy with a Chakra clearing practice I made and use for myself and then bring in fresh energy, peace, Love, and encircle ourselves in Light.

    Next, we will move gently and with compassion for ourselves because the kinder we are to ourselves, the kinder we can be to others.

    Finally, I will take you through a guided meditation focused on lovingkindness.

    This is your chance to slow down. Breathe deeply. Relax with gentle Somatic movements and stretches. And to let go of any holding patterns that are holding you back and keeping you from peace.

    Class is in person and on Zoom. I will record this class so if you cannot join during class time, you can attend later.

    This will be a deeply relaxing, transformative class to help you align yourself with the energy of peace.

    This 90 minute class is $25. I will donate 20% of class fees plus any additional donations and send to Mercy Corps to help their humanitarian efforts. https://www.mercycorps.org/

    Joy of Movement Yoga & Wine

    Monday, October 7th at 5:30pm

    Admission Fee: $20

    Return to joy with this deeply relaxing class that combines stretching, functional movement, and all new somatic yoga movements.

    You will move move better, become more flexible, and have better balance. When you leave, you will feel lighter, brighter, and stronger.

    Class uses a mat, but we don’t get up and down from the floor repeatedly. Can't kneel? Standing or seated options for postures are given. Another issue? Many other modifications are offered to help you be successful.

    Bring a yoga mat and any props you'd like—one hour of yoga and a glass of house wine after. Tickets may be purchased at The Wine Sellers or online (+$3.18 service fee).
